Fuente de Piedra

The general area around Fuente de Piedra is richly agricultural and lovers of the countryside and real Spain will be at home there.
Close to the village is a huge lake - also known as Fuente de Piedra - which is a conservation area famous for being one of the most important European breeding grounds for the flamingo.
Interesting day trips include historic Granada and Seville, the Torcal National Park and winter skiing at Sol y Nieve. Marbella’s Golf Valley, with its Internationally famous Golf courses, can be reached within an hour by car.
